What will you do at SuperPlay?:

  • As a 2D Animator you will be working as part of a team of designers, interacting with technical artists, the Animation Lead and the Art Director
  • Core tasks revolve around producing various animations for characters, objects and other game assets according to design/gameplay needs, while adhering to the established visual identity and animation direction. The animations vary, from character animations to game assets to transition animations & VFX.
  • Creating believable, high-quality animations and directly participating in implementing them in games
  • Ensuring close collaboration with the 2D artists and the team's technical leads to contend with constraints related to production.
  • Meeting project deadlines/milestones as set by project leads.

Who are you?:

  • At least 3+ years of experience in the gaming industry or another creative field.
  • 2+ years of proven experience in animation.
  • Proven experience in 2D character animation, with a portfolio demonstrating versatility across different art styles.
  • Proficient in animation using Spine and Unity.
  • Good knowledge of After Effects and Adobe Photoshop.
  • Passion for games and strong knowledge of successful casual and mobile games.
  • Experience optimizing art and animation to run smoothly on mobile devices.
  • Goal-oriented team player with proven ability to meet deadlines and milestones.

  • Working knowledge of Unity.
  • Experience with rigging and skinning.
  • Experience creating VFX.
  • Experience with 2D animation.
  • Working knowledge of Blender.
