Job Description
The EATS Control team, together with the Diagnostics group, is responsible for developing and maintaining software functions within the Exhaust Aftertreatment System (EATS). With new technologies, increasing CO₂ requirements, and evolving emissions legislation, our team develops innovative emission control solutions while also supporting products currently in the field. We manage the full lifecycle of our products—from advanced engineering and product development to maintenance and continuous improvement.

Job Description
The EATS Control team, together with the Diagnostics group, is responsible for developing and maintaining software functions within the Exhaust Aftertreatment System (EATS). With new technologies, increasing CO₂ requirements, and evolving emissions legislation, our team develops innovative emission control solutions while also supporting products currently in the field. We manage the full lifecycle of our products—from advanced engineering and product development to maintenance and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, review, and verify embedded software to support new engines and aftertreatment systems in order to meet new emissions regulations or deliver customer-specific solutions
- Investigate embedded software issues, analyze cause-and-effect relationships, recommend appropriate actions, take ownership of problem resolution, and document results
- Participate in system engineering activities supporting the EATS product, collaborating with calibration engineers and hardware system design teams
- Ensure software quality and readiness before release
- Provide feedback and contribute to improving methods and processes for software function development and verification
- Programming experience in MATLAB, TargetLink, Simulink, C, and Python
- Knowledge of control theory and experience working with real-time embedded systems
- Knowledge of combustion engines, aftertreatment systems, or propulsion control is a must
- Basic knowledge of mechatronics
- Familiarity with emission regulations and diagnostics is considered a strong advantage
