The Opportunity:
This is a unique opportunity to build the IT Strategy and further strengthen the IT Operating Model of a fast-growing international green-tech company. As our IT Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our people, systems, and data are secure, scalable, and ready to support our ambitious growth journey.
You will operate as our go-to IT expert - combining hands-on technical support with strategic thinking. From setting up new colleagues for success on day one, to strengthening our cybersecurity framework and driving global software alignment, your work will directly impact productivity, compliance, and operational excellence across the entire organization.

What would be your key responsibilities:
- General IT support, hereunder of hardware sourcing, preparation of both new and pre-owned equipment, system setup and management, and providing IT support to employees.
- Ensure compliance with NIS2 and GDPR regulations and decrease risk exposure to data loss, cyberattacks, and malware incidents.
- Initiate and drive a global IT projects.
Professional Qualifications
Hardware & Infrastructure Management
- Solid experience with hardware procurement, setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting for laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers, routers, and other office equipment.
- Ability to manage and maintain peripheral devices and workplace networks (LAN/WiFi, VPN, firewalls, etc.).
Software & Platform Integration
- Confident in evaluating, sourcing, and implementing software solutions across the organization as well as removing shadow IT.
- Experience integrating third-party SaaS platforms, internal tools, and cloud-based solutions to streamline workflows.
Digital Onboarding & IT Support
- End-to-end management of digital onboarding for new hires; account setup, device provisioning, access rights, security training, and documentation.
- Provide reliable, first-line IT support to employees across departments (both local and remote), resolving issues efficiently and maintaining high internal service levels.
Security & Access Management
- Knowledge of access control, user permissions, endpoint security, and routine data protection practices.
- Experience in managing secure credentials, SSO, MFA, and backup procedures.
One-Person IT Department Readiness
- Proven ability to operate independently without relying on a team - strong organizational and self-management skills are critical.
- Capable of prioritizing tasks, communicating timelines, and keeping systems operational with minimal oversight.
Preferred Tools & Platforms
- Familiarity with tools and platforms such as Microsoft 365, Slack, Notion, Zoom, Jamf (or other MDM), and cloud storage systems.
- Experience with Mac and Windows environments, including software updates, disk management, and troubleshooting.
