Our team builds and scales multiple products while constantly exploring new technologies. As our products and user base continue to grow, we are looking for curious and motivated Junior React Native Engineers who want to grow with us.
Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Junior React Native Engineer at Papcorns.
You will work closely with experienced engineers, designers, and product managers to build and improve mobile applications used by millions of people. This role is a great opportunity to develop your skills in a real product environment and learn how high-quality mobile apps are built and scaled.
The role is based in Istanbul, Türkiye, with flexibility for some remote work.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in mobile development
- Familiarity with React Native
- Basic knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript
- Understanding of CSS and UI styling
- Familiarity with REST APIs
- Basic knowledge of Git
- Ability to use AI coding tools such as Cursor, Windsurf, or Claude Code
- Curiosity for learning new technologies and improving your skills
- Ability to collaborate with teammates and communicate ideas clearly
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Experience with Expo or React Native CLI
- Familiarity with state management tools such as Redux
- Basic knowledge of Firebase
- Understanding of mobile app deployment workflows
- Interest in mobile performance and user experience
- Support the development of mobile features using React Native
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to improve product quality
- Write clean and maintainable code while learning best practices
- Help diagnose and fix bugs and performance issues
- Participate in code reviews and team discussions
- Continuously learn and improve your technical skills
