We are looking for a "Senior Data Scientist" who can work with us in Istanbul (Ümraniye) Office of our "Medtec Information Technologies" company, which provides services in business processes improvement and project management by offering technology solutions developed with its rich knowledge and experience in logistics processes.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Apache Airflow.
• Perform data wrangling to clean and structure datasets for analysis and reporting.
• Work with large data stores such as MSSQL and MongoDB to query, manipulate, and store data.
• Build and optimize data pipelines to automate data extraction, transformation, and loading tasks.
• Prepare reports, visualizations, and dashboards to communicate insights and analysis to business stakeholders.
• Collaborate with development team to implement solutions and improve data processes.
• Ensure the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of data workflows.
• Work with Docker to containerize applications and improve deployment consistency across environments.
• Maintain and support systems and applications running on Linux environments.

Technical Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 4+ years experience in data science role
• Proficiency in Python, including libraries like pandas, NumPy, and scikit-learn.
• Handson experience with data wrangling techniques to clean and structure raw data for analysis.
• Experience working with MSSQL(SQL queries, stored procedures, etc.) and MongoDB (NoSQL queries, aggregation).
• Familiarity with Apache Airflow to build, schedule, and monitor data workflows.
• Basic knowledge of Docker for containerization and development in isolated environments.
• Comfort working in a Linux environment for data processing and automation tasks.
• Experience creating and automating data reports and visualizations for stakeholders.
• Experience using version control systems, preferably Git.
• Cloud Services: Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus, but not required.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to solve complex data issues.
• Good written and verbal communication skills to effectively present findings and insights.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI, or Python based libraries like matplotlib and seaborn).
