Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor cloud platforms and services to ensure availability, performance, and reliability.
- Manage incident detection, investigation, and resolution for cloud infrastructure issues.
- Perform patch management, system updates, and routine maintenance for cloud workloads.
- Conduct capacity planning and resource optimization to ensure scalable cloud operations.
- Manage and maintain cloud resources including Amazon EC2, Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Storage, and related services.
- Implement automation for operational tasks using scripts or tools like Terraform, Ansible, or cloud-native automation services.
- Support deployment pipelines and coordinate with DevOps teams to ensure smooth application releases.
· Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and incident reports.
· Ensure adherence to security and compliance policies within cloud environments.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3–6 years of experience in cloud operations, cloud administration, or system operations.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with cloud monitoring tools such as Amazon CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of operating systems (Linux, Windows Server) and server administration.
- Familiarity with networking, load balancing, and security configurations in cloud environments.
- Strong scripting or automation skills using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Ability to troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications such as AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management tools.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
