Position: Norwegian Language Expert

Compensation: $10–$30/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Create, review, and edit Norwegian-language content for accuracy, tone, and contextual relevance.
• Ensure high linguistic standards across written and verbal communication materials.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to localize and adapt global content for Norwegian-speaking audiences.
• Conduct linguistic quality checks and provide feedback to improve consistency and clarity.
• Offer expert guidance on Norwegian grammar, usage, and regional language nuances.
• Assist in developing style guides and language resources tailored for the Norwegian market.
• Communicate proactively with stakeholders to clarify requirements and deliver high-quality outputs.

Requirements

• Native or near-native proficiency in Norwegian with strong written and spoken communication skills.
• Exceptional writing and editing abilities with strong attention to linguistic detail.
• Strong background in linguistics, language studies, translation, or a related field.
• Experience with language quality assurance and localization practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing multiple priorities.
• Passion for language, culture, and continuous learning.
