A well established Norwegian commercial real estate and property services company is looking to strengthen its data and analytics capability with the addition of a BI focused data professional. The business manages a large portfolio of properties and generates significant operational data across multiple departments, creating strong opportunities to turn data into insights that support decision making and business growth.
This role will sit close to the business, focusing on Power BI, reporting, and transforming data into practical solutions used across the organisation. You will work alongside an existing BI specialist and help administer the data warehouse, analyse data, and build dashboards and reports that support teams across areas such as property management, finance, and marketing.
A key aspect of the role will also involve structuring and assembling data into products and insights that create value internally and potentially externally.
Key requirements
- Strong experience with Power BI, including building dashboards, reports, and data models
- Experience working with Business Intelligence and analytics in a commercial environment
- Good understanding of data warehouse concepts and how data is structured and managed
- Comfortable analysing large datasets and translating data into clear insights for business users
- Ability to work closely with non technical stakeholders to understand requirements and turn them into BI solutions
- Basic understanding of backend data concepts, databases, and data pipelines
- Experience working within Microsoft Azure environments or similar cloud data platforms is beneficial
- Strong SQL skills or experience querying data from structured sources
- Self driven and able to work independently while contributing to a shared data architecture
- Comfortable working in a collaborative environment where BI sits close to the business
- Norwegian language skills are required as the working environment is primarily Norwegian speaking
Location: Oslo, flexible working model with around 2 to 3 days per week in the office.
