About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Information Security Engineer to join our Security Operations team. This role combines hands-on security operations, first-line incident response, and participation in security projects that support our global IT environment.

As part of the team, you will act as the first line of contact for security alerts and incidents, monitoring and responding to threats across our Microsoft security ecosystem. You will play a key role in protecting our infrastructure by investigating incidents, improving detection capabilities, and supporting the continuous enhancement of our security posture.

This role is ideal for someone who is curious, analytical, and passionate about cybersecurity, and who enjoys working in a collaborative international environment while continuously learning about new technologies and threat landscapes.

The role can be based in one of our offices across the APAC region.

About the Team

You will join a global security operations team responsible for monitoring, detecting, and responding to security threats across our organization.

Our team works closely with IT infrastructure, cloud, and network teams to strengthen security controls, implement best practices, and continuously improve our detection and response capabilities. We leverage modern security technologies, including the Microsoft Defender security suite, XDR/SIEM platforms, and Azure security tools, to safeguard our systems and data.

Beyond daily operations, the team is actively involved in security transformation initiatives, including the onboarding of new security tools, cloud security improvements, and strengthening incident response processes.

About You

You are a hands-on security professional with 5–7 years of experience in security operations or information security roles. You are comfortable investigating security alerts, analyzing incidents, and collaborating with technical teams to mitigate threats.

You have strong experience working with the Microsoft Defender security suite and a solid understanding of core cybersecurity principles. Exposure to Azure cloud security and modern detection tools such as XDR or NDR platforms will help you succeed in this role.

You are someone who enjoys problem solving, improving processes, and learning about emerging threats and technologies. You work well independently but also thrive in a global, collaborative team environment.

Key qualifications include:

  • 5–7 years of experience in information security or security operations roles
  • Degree in Information Security, IT, or a related field
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender security suite (Defender for Endpoint, Identity, Office 365, and Defender XDR)
  • Strong understanding of security fundamentals including threats, vulnerabilities, and risk management
  • Experience across endpoint, email, identity, and network security domains
  • Working knowledge of Azure cloud and Azure security concepts
  • Experience handling security tickets, alerts, and incident management processes
  • Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO/IEC 27001, or MITRE ATT&CK
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
  • Experience working in international or global teams
  • Professional certifications are a plus, such as SC-200, AZ-500, SSCP, CySA+, GCIH, or similar SOC/incident response certifications
  • Fluent English communication skills
  • Experience with Darktrace or similar NDR solutions and exposure to vulnerability management or firewall operations would be considered an advantage.
  • The role can be based in one of our offices across the APAC region
