Role: Golang Developer with AWS
Location: Richmond, VA (Hybrid)
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance microservices and APIs using Go (Golang).
- Build scalable cloud-native applications leveraging AWS services (Lambda, ECS/EKS, S3, DynamoDB, etc.).
- Implement CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and logging for distributed systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure best practices in security, reliability, and performance tuning.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of backend development, with at least 2+ years of Golang.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS Cloud architecture and core services.
- Proficiency with RESTful APIs, gRPC, and microservices patterns.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other container/orchestration tools.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
- Strong understanding of unit testing, code reviews, and agile development.
Nice-to-Have
- Knowledge of Terraform or CloudFormation (Infrastructure as Code).
- Experience with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases.
