The person in this role will build and maintain high-performance, secure, and user-friendly Android applications that meet the evolving needs of Wells Fargo customers in the banking and fintech space.

Duration: 12 months

MISSION
The person in this role will build and maintain high-performance, secure, and user-friendly Android applications that meet the evolving needs of Wells Fargo customers in the banking and fintech space.
DAY TO DAY
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features for our mobile applications.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using Kotlin and modern Android development practices.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues, fix bugs, and optimize application performance.
- Work with APIs, third-party libraries, and other back-end services to ensure seamless integration.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall quality and maintainability of the codebase.
- 5+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 4+ years specifically in Android development within a corporate or enterprise environment.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Kotlin, Reactive Programming, coroutines, and Dependency Injection (like Dagger).
- Experience with Jetpack architecture components and familiarity with RESTful APIs and Retrofit.
- Proven experience working on applications, with examples available in public app stores.
- A technical degree or additional equivalent work experience in software development.
