Overview

We are looking for an experienced Website Developer with strong e-commerce development expertise to design and develop a high-quality online platform for a precious metals trading business. The platform should deliver a seamless user experience with advanced product filtering, secure checkout, real-time price updates, and scalable architecture.

The developer will be responsible for building a modern, responsive, and secure website similar to leading global bullion trading platforms, ensuring high performance, reliability, and excellent UI/UX.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop a fully functional e-commerce website from concept to deployment.
• Build responsive and user-friendly interfaces for product listings, filtering, and checkout processes.
• Implement advanced product filters based on price, metal type, weight, and category.
• Integrate real-time precious metals price feeds using third-party APIs.
• Develop secure payment gateway integrations.
• Implement customer account management, order tracking, and purchase history features.
• Ensure high performance, security, and scalability of the platform.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers and project stakeholders to deliver a high-quality digital experience.
• Perform testing, debugging, and optimization before deployment.
• Provide post-launch support and improvements.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in e-commerce website development.
• Proficiency in modern web technologies such as:
• React / Next.js
• Node.js / Laravel / PHP
• HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
• Experience with Shopify, Magento, or WooCommerce platforms.
• Integration experience with payment gateways and external APIs.
• Experience implementing secure authentication and transaction processes.
• Knowledge of database management (MySQL / MongoDB).
• Experience developing responsive and mobile-optimized websites.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building financial trading or precious metals platforms.
• Familiarity with real-time pricing APIs or financial data feeds.
• Understanding of security best practices for online transactions.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
