Network Engineer- 12x36

We are looking for a Network Engineer in Londrina!

Must have:

• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Cisco Firepower (configuration, troubleshooting, policy management)
• Palo Alto firewalls (security policies, VPNs, threat prevention)
• Cisco routers and switches (routing, switching, VLAN, VxLAN, high availability)
• Solid understanding of:
• DNS management and IP addressing
• Wi-Fi troubleshooting and optimization
• Ability to:
• Perform hardware support, including RMA processes
• Use network monitoring tools for proactive issue resolution
• Mastery of DNS concepts and practices, including:reservation and management of public and private IP addresses
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Good to know:

• CCNA/CCNP or equivalent networking certifications
• Cloud networking (AWS, Azure, OCI)

Key responsibilities/Expectations from the Role

• Firewall & Security Management
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco Firepower and Palo Alto firewalls, ensuring compliance with security policies.
• Implement VPNs, intrusion prevention, and threat mitigation strategies.
• Routing & Switching
• Deploy and manage Cisco routers and switches, including VLAN configuration, routing protocols, and network optimization.
• Ensure high availability and performance of core network infrastructure.
• Network Services
• Administer DNS and DHCP services for reliable name resolution and IP management.
• Maintain accurate IP addressing schemes and documentation.
• Wireless Networking
• Provide support for Wi-Fi infrastructure, including troubleshooting connectivity issues and optimizing coverage.
• Hardware Support
• Manage RMA processes for defective hardware and coordinate with vendors for timely replacements.
• Ensure proper installation and maintenance of network hardware.
• Monitoring & Troubleshooting
• Utilize network monitoring tools to proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Documentation & Compliance
• Maintain detailed network diagrams, configurations, and operational documentation.
• Adhere to industry best practices and organizational security standards.
