You will be part of the extended Keysight Technical and Application Support (KTAS) team, working in an exciting international environment, supporting different clients from a variety of industries within EMEAI.

This position requires customer facing experience, preferable in technical support, and ability to work independently with a customer-first mindset and the passion to provide service.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated to investigate and learn Keysight products and the applications they are used in.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, sales and/or service representatives across EMEAI to deliver post-sales customer support, solving technical questions of varied scope and complexity in the General Test and Application domain, including digital multimeters, power supplies, function generators, data acquisition, counters, and related software.
• Provide timely and effective remote post sales technical support, solving technical problems.
• Share technical expertise across the EMEAI team and write technical articles for the customer knowledgebase
• Close cooperation with the Keysight product engineering, software and solution centers. The technical support application engineer is the technical interface between the customers and the Keysight Worldwide support team.
• Take proactive actions while interacting with customers in terms of solving current questions or addressing potential future needs.
• Develop into the General Test and Automation expertise within Keysight Technical and Application Support for products and solutions.
• Proactively obtaining feedback from Keysight customer base regarding product functionality and quality and communicating with Product Management and Development teams.

Qualifications

Must have

• Bachelor and/or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent scientific discipline
• Advanced/Bilingual English language. German or other additional languages are a plus.
• At least 1-2 years relevant experience as a test engineer, design engineer or application engineer.
• Practical experience using Test & Measurement instrumentation such as function generators, power supplies, digital multimeters, data acquisition.
• Programming skills applied in a T&M environment, using languages such as: C#, .NET, C++, VB, Python, LabView or VEE Pro.

Nice to have

• Knowledgeable on equipment such as sampling and real time oscilloscopes, BERTs (Bit Error Rate Testers), AWGs (Arbitrary Waveform Generators) and basic understanding of generation, demodulation, and analysis of digital communication signals, including signal integrity.
• Experience as design validation engineer, or test engineer in the Digital domain and/or in one or more standards (HDMI, USB, DDR, MIPI, Ethernet...).
