A Brisbane-based SaaS company is looking for a Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer to take ownership of the cloud and DevOps platform that supports their product engineering teams.

This is a product-led environment where DevOps sits directly within engineering and plays a central role in how software is built, deployed and scaled. The platform is primarily Google Cloud based, with Kubernetes at the centre of the architecture and a modern GitOps approach using ArgoCD.

The role would suit someone who enjoys building and evolving the platform that enables developers to ship software reliably and efficiently.

What you will be working on

• Owning and evolving the DevOps platform that supports product engineering teams
• Managing and improving CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows
• Supporting a Kubernetes-based platform running in Google Cloud
• Working with GitOps deployment patterns using ArgoCD
• Improving observability, reliability and operational tooling
• Partnering with developers to improve the release and development experience

• Strong experience in DevOps or platform engineering roles
• Experience with GCP
• Experience with GitOps tooling such as ArgoCD
• Experience working with Kubernetes in production environments
• Experience with CI/CD automation and infrastructure as code
