On behalf of a well known international company in Zurich, Swisslinx are looking for an experienced and outgoing Network Engineer with broad technical knowhow and knowledge of switches, routers, access points etc.

Joining a small and international platform team of three engineers responsible for the network infrastructure in a fast-paced environment, you would be responsible for the following:

Management of the network planning, delivery, and operations for all corporate office locations worldwide
Drive the management of network infrastructure build and implementation, ensuring timely availability of components and services are implemented according to standards
Participation in the scope definition, procurement liaison, supplier selection and onboarding of different telco and network vendors
Carrying out reviews of Network Infrastructure design and ensure all aspects of the Network deliverables
Overseeing the effective and efficient provision of network services for all offices and subsidiaries globally

As the perfect candidate you are a collaborative and proactive candidate with solid experience supporting network infrastructures in a high-pressured environment. You will possess the following skills and experience:

Strong experience as Network Engineer, with experience in networks, wired and wireless infrastructure design and implementation, network integration and connectivity
Strong CISCO knowledge (including certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, CISSP, or equivalent experience)
Good knowledge of routing and switching
Strong experience with troubleshooting wireless technologies
Ability to anticipate, identify, and define problems, coupled with excellent problem solving skills.
Able to communicate with different audiences and adaptable to a fast changing environment
Sociable and a team player
Fluency in English (additional languages a plus)
Willingness to travel up to 30% worldwide (up to 30 days per year)
