Mission
As Bluesquare scales its impact in global health and data digitalization, we are transitioning toward a more seamless and self-service experience for our partners. We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to spearhead the development of our Customer Console, which ought to be the central nervous system of our technical operations around our set of Products.
Location: Open to remote. Ideally close to one of Bluesquare’s offices. Note that Bluesquare’s headquarters are located in Brussels, Belgium.
Start date: as soon as possible.

Description
Your primary mission is to build, maintain and constantly improve a sophisticated, self-service platform based on the SaaS Pegasus framework. This console isn’t just a portal; it is the bridge that connects our enterprise business logic with our products and shelf-ready services. You will be responsible for:
- Platform Orchestration: Scaling our customer-facing console to automate user onboarding, subscription management, and resource provisioning.
- Deep-Stack Integration: Creating seamless, automated workflows between the console and our existing business stack, including Jira (task management), Stripe (billing), HubSpot (CRM), and Odoo (ERP).
- Product Synergy: Working at the intersection of the console and our open-source platforms:
- IASO: Our geospatial data collection and health campaign management tool
- OpenHEXA: Our data science and analytics pipeline platform
- Hybrid Contribution: While the console is your primary focus, you will have the opportunity to also dive into the core codebases of IASO and/or OpenHEXA, ensuring they are « integration-ready » and contributing to their backend architecture (Python/Django).
Roles & Responsibilities
Support the continued development of the platform, which includes the following tasks:
- Resolve issues when they arise
- Prioritizing and evaluating tasks with our Product Lead and CTO
- Developing the backend application of the platform and ensuring a consistent architecture.
- Review the work of other contributors to the platform
- Ensure quality delivery
Profile
This position is open to freelancers or employees.
Please, note that we are searching for candidates who can work from 9:00 AM to 5 PM CET.
Required: We are looking for an experienced candidate with strong technical skills.
- Mastery of Django/Django Rest Framework or similar frameworks (RoR, Laravel, etc.)
- Good knowledge of Python and its ecosystem
- Practical knowledge of Docker, Docker-Compose
- Knowledge of AWS, and in particular of Elastic Beanstalk, S3 and RDS
- Strong relational database knowledge, ideally with PostgreSQL and Postgis
- Knowledge of React/Redux (we build on top of Webpack/Babel currently)
- Decent mastery of Javascript
- Strong attention to code quality and maintainability
- Good oral and written communication skills in English and ideally French
- Willingness to use AI tools to improve efficiency of development
Nice to have
- Experience with mockup tools like Balsamiq/Whimsical
- Confidence with design tools like Figma or Sketch
