Lead Developer, Service Pathway PlatformWe are looking for a Lead Developer to take technical ownership of our Service Pathway Platform, which structures healthcare service processes and connects workflow design with data‑ and AI‑driven insight. In this hands‑on role, you will hold architectural responsibility and ensure the platform remains scalable, secure, and reliable in real‑world healthcare environments.
You will work as part of a Scrum team, contributing directly to development while also guiding technical direction. Your work will influence both the architecture and day‑to‑day reliability of a cloud‑native, multi‑tenant system used by healthcare professionals.
This is a full‑time and permanent role based in Turku or Espoo, with hybrid work flexibility. As we are not able to provide relocation support, we prefer candidates already living in Finland and holding the right to work here.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Developing backend and frontend features with Node.js and React
- Designing and maintaining cloud-native solutions in Microsoft Azure and AKS
- Leading architectural decisions across application, service, and infrastructure layers
- Owning and improving CI/CD pipelines and deployment practices
- Ensuring performance, security, and scalability in a multi‑tenant SaaS environment
- Defining service boundaries and integration patterns
- Translating healthcare workflow requirements into maintainable technical solutions
- Ensuring system observability, monitoring, and operational reliability
- Contributing to continuous improvement of team practices and ways of working
- Strong experience in backend development with Node.js
- Solid and confident frontend skills with React
- Proven experience designing and operating cloud-native solutions in Microsoft Azure, including AKS
- Good command of CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment practices
- Experience in software architecture and building maintainable, scalable systems
- Background working with multi-tenant SaaS architecture
- Ability to contribute to technical discussions and work effectively in a collaborative Scrum team
- Experience working in healthcare or other regulated domains
- Knowledge of infrastructure‑as‑code (e.g., Bicep, Terraform)
- Experience with data‑driven systems, analytics, or operational insights
- Understanding performance optimization in multi‑tenant environments
Your expertise will shape a platform that plays a central role in how healthcare organizations define, deliver, and monitor structured care pathways. By connecting workflow logic with real‑time operational insight, the platform helps healthcare professionals coordinate care more effectively, improve consistency, and use resources where they matter most.
As Lead Developer, you’ll take a key role in a system used across both public and private healthcare. The architectural quality of this platform influences how smoothly patient care progresses, how reliably teams can work, and how well organizations can meet growing demand. If you’re motivated by building durable systems that must perform in real operational settings, not just in development environments, this role offers both meaningful responsibility and technical depth.
