Amesan Consulting is recruiting an HR assistant for our client MAIT Nordics.

Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Assistant to support daily HR operations and ensure the efficient execution of administrative processes within the Human Resources department.
In this role, you will work closely with the HR Business Partner (HRBP) to provide comprehensive support across the full employee lifecycle. You will help manage employee records, coordinate payroll-related processes, support compensation and benefits administration, and contribute to consistent and seamless HR service delivery across the region.
Your work will ensure that HR processes run efficiently and that employees and managers receive reliable support in their day-to-day HR matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the administrative processes related to the employee lifecycle, including new hires, status changes, and exits, ensuring documentation is accurate and GDPR compliant.
- Prepare and verify payroll input such as working hours, bonuses, and absences in coordination with payroll providers or internal systems.
- Draft and maintain employment contracts and contract amendments.
- Support compliance and reporting obligations related to occupational health, insurance, and Finnish authorities.
- Coordinate onboarding activities and ensure new employees have the necessary tools, information, and introduction for a successful start.
- Act as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related questions, holiday balances, and company policies.
- Collaborate with HR, IT, Finance, and management to ensure smooth execution of employee lifecycle processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field, or currently completing relevant studies.
- Basic understanding of Finnish employment legislation and employment practices.
- Familiarity with payroll cycles and social security contributions in Finland.
- Experience working with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple administrative processes simultaneously.
- High level of accuracy and discretion when handling sensitive employee data.
- Strong communication skills in Finnish and English (Swedish is considered an advantage).
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work across departments to ensure smooth HR operations.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with Finnish collective agreements (TES).
- Previous experience in HR administration or HR support roles.
- Interest in developing HR processes and improving administrative efficiency.
- Familiarity with HR reporting or payroll coordination tasks.

Salary: approximately €3000 per month, depending on experience.
