As we continue to scale rapidly across the region, we’re looking for a HR Specialist in Finland to help deliver a consistent, high-quality employee experience and support the foundations of a strong, modern people function.
What You’ll Do
Core HR Operations
- Support onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle changes
- Maintain accurate employee data and documentation in HR systems (Workday)
- Act as a trusted first point of contact for day-to-day HR questions
- Support employees and managers with employee relations matters, policy guidance and people processes
- Help ensure fair, consistent, and practical application of policies
- Support compliance with local employment laws and
- Maintain and update employee handbooks, HR policies, and processes
- Support monthly payroll processing and partner closely with internal payroll and benefits teams as well as external vendors to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Support benefits administration, enrollments, and employee queries
- Support performance cycles, engagement initiatives, and people programs
- Contribute to process improvements as we grow and mature
- Take part in HR projects that strengthen how we work as an organization
With office facilities in Helsinki and data center campuses under development in Kouvola and Lahti, we are looking for someone who is based in Southern Finland and is willing to visit our locations and meet the team when needed.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in generalist or HR operations role and payroll administration preferably in an international environment
- Solid understanding of Finnish employment laws and HR fundamentals. Knowledge of other countries’ legislation, such as Spain, is considered an asset.
- Experience working with an HRIS, preferably with Workday
- Experience supporting full employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding
- Ability to support benefits administration
- Fluency in English and Finnish, both written and spoken.
- Comfortable working in a fast-growth, high-change environment – agile and adaptable
- High attention to detail and respect for confidentiality
- Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with high integrity and a collaborative working style
