We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join a high-profile modernisation programme within a large, enterprise-scale organisation based in Dublin.

This is a 12-month contract opportunity supporting a significant transformation initiative focused on modernising core payment platforms.

*Up to €650 per day, 12 month contract, On-site

The Role

As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in driving automation, improving deployment pipelines, and enhancing infrastructure reliability across a complex application landscape. You will work closely with development and engineering teams to streamline CI/CD processes and support cloud-based environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Improve automation across build, deployment and monitoring processes
• Support infrastructure as code (IaC) practices
• Collaborate with development teams to enhance system reliability and scalability
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
• Contribute to continuous improvement within DevOps practices

Requirements

• Proven experience in a DevOps or Platform Engineering role
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools and automation frameworks
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or similar)
• Infrastructure as Code experience (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)
• Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell)
• Experience working in enterprise or large-scale environments
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
