We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join a high-profile modernisation programme within a large, enterprise-scale organisation based in Dublin.
This is a 12-month contract opportunity supporting a significant transformation initiative focused on modernising core payment platforms.
*Up to €650 per day, 12 month contract, On-site
The Role
As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in driving automation, improving deployment pipelines, and enhancing infrastructure reliability across a complex application landscape. You will work closely with development and engineering teams to streamline CI/CD processes and support cloud-based environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Improve automation across build, deployment and monitoring processes
- Support infrastructure as code (IaC) practices
- Collaborate with development teams to enhance system reliability and scalability
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
- Contribute to continuous improvement within DevOps practices
Requirements
- Proven experience in a DevOps or Platform Engineering role
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools and automation frameworks
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or similar)
- Infrastructure as Code experience (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)
- Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Experience working in enterprise or large-scale environments
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Additional Information
- 12-month contract
- Onsite in Dublin (5 days per week)
