Job Description:
- Credit risk analysis and reviews of mid and large corporates belonging to different industries aimed at the issuance of risk opinions in the framework of investment banking deals originated by CA-CIB Milan branch and decided locally or by Paris committee, renewals, waivers and amendments. The analysis will be focused on clients’ business model, industries trends, reference markets, SWOT analysis, historical financial performance and forecast scenarios.
- Attendance and active contribution to internal meetings and credit committees.
- Determination and approval of internal ratings.
- Review and issuance of risk opinions for credit applications initiated by international network and to be approved by CA-CIB Milan branch.
- Regular maintenance and surveillance of the covered portfolio (with reference to risk dynamics and credit limits approved) and reporting – to local and, eventually, Head Office’s risk management – of any sign of deterioration.
- Ongoing coordination with Head Office’s risk management representatives for files exceeding Milan local delegation.
Minimum level of study
- Minimal education level Postgraduate degree – MA/MSc/PhD/Doctorate or equivalent
Training / Specialization
- Specialty in MSc in Finance/Economics with accounting and financial skills
Minimum Experience Level
- Level of desired experience 2-3 years
Required Skills:
- Strong ability to analyse and summarise in a technically demanding framework
- Strong ability to communicate clearly and easily
- Attention to details and deep sense of self-organization
- Fair knowledge of investment banking products
- Average focus on relationship management / commercial sense
IT tools
- Good knowledge in financial and risk analysis
Languages
- Fluent command in English (written and oral). Average knowledge of French as a plus
