The part you'll play
You will join our Headquarters in Florence, being part of the E-business department you will be responsible for:
Digital Business Analysis & Data Management
- Analyze e‑business performance across the full customer journey to identify growth opportunities, performance gaps, risks, and friction points, providing structured visibility on commercial, operational, and financial KPIs at both local and global level.
- Translate performance trends, user behaviors, and initiative outcomes into clear, actionable recommendations for e‑commerce business and cross‑functional teams, supporting strategic decision‑making, prioritization, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate the performance reporting framework, ensuring clarity, consistency, and reliability across dashboards, KPIs, and measurement standards, while assessing the business and financial impact of digital, promotional, and customer‑experience initiatives
- Leverage digital analytics tools and marketing platforms to analyze traffic patterns, user behavior, funnel dynamics, and the key drivers influencing conversion and revenue performance.
- Evaluate Ecommerce feature releases and campaign results through pre/post analysis, incrementality assessment, or contribution models. Identify opportunities for continuous performance improvement.
- Ensure data quality and tracking governance across digital properties by validating analytics implementations, identifying measurement gaps, and collaborating with tech and product teams to improve data accuracy and reliability.
Budgeting, forecasting and cost tracking
- Coordinate the annual budget and periodic forecasting processes for the e‑commerce department, partnering with regional and corporate stakeholders to ensure alignment between financial projections, strategic growth plans, and corporate requirements.
- Develop and maintain robust forecasting models—leveraging driver‑based and time‑series approaches—to enhance the accuracy of revenue, margin, and cost projections across regions, integrating digital performance trends and key business drivers.
- Monitor and analyze Opex and Capex while standardizing cost‑tracking frameworks across regions; conduct variance analysis versus budget and forecasts, and support key control activities including cost tracking, and monthly/quarterly closing.
What you’ll bring
- 5+ years of experience in Digital Business/Strategic Analytics and Data Management within an Ecommerce or retail environment, with a proven track record of analytics projects delivering measurable commercial or cost impact.
- Advanced data analysis capabilities, insights generation, dashboard development, and large‑scale data handling.
- Strong expertise in Excel/Sheets, Power BI, and Looker Studio; experience with Python or R for statistical modeling, forecasting, or segmentation is a plus.
- Knowledge of digital marketing metrics and UX principles; familiarity with GA4, Adobe Analytics, Contentsquare, CRO methodologies, and A/B testing frameworks is considered a plus.
- Analytical acumen, problem‑solving skills, project management capabilities, and solid communication abilities.
- Basic understanding of tracking and tagging technologies; experience with data governance and tracking validation is an advantage.
- A degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or a Master’s program in Data Management is considered a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, in both Italian and English.
