• Designing and implementing backend architecture for a payment gateway and internal services

• Developing high-load APIs and backend services for payment processing

• Building asynchronous and event-driven workflows using ReactPHP and message queues

• Working with RabbitMQ for messaging, retries, and background processing

• Using Elasticsearch for search, logging, and analytics

• Optimizing performance, scalability, and reliability of backend systems

• Writing clean, maintainable code and improving existing codebases

• Working in a Docker-based development environment

• Taking ownership of features from design to production

• PHP 8 (backend only)

• 5+ years of PHP backend development experience

• Strong experience with Symfony

• Good understanding of backend architecture and system design

• Understanding of asynchronous PHP (ReactPHP or similar)

• Strong MySQL / SQL skills

• Comfortable working in Docker-based environments

• Good understanding of Linux

• Understanding of AWS core services

• Ability to work independently and responsibly

• Experience in payment or fintech systems is a plus

• PCI DSS awareness is a strong plus
