Regulatory Reporting – Data analyst

Are you detail-oriented, data-driven, and motivated by the challenge of building robust reporting frameworks in a fast-growing fintech environment?

Would you like to play a key role in ensuring transparency, accuracy, and compliance for a pioneering stablecoin company at the forefront of digital finance?

Our client is an innovative stablecoin startup, backed by a leading and well-established group, currently expanding its operations in Luxembourg. With around 15 team members and a strong growth trajectory, the company is in the process of obtaining Luxembourg-regulated EMI and CASP licences.

As one of the first hires in Luxembourg, you will play an essential role in shaping the company’s data and regulatory reporting framework, working closely with international teams to deliver accurate, timely, and auditable reporting to the CSSF.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end production of periodic regulatory and prudential reports, including CSSF, BCL, CRS, CARF, and CESOP submissions.
  • Implement and operate first-line controls to ensure data completeness, accuracy, and timeliness, including reconciliations with the general ledger, sub-ledgers, and company platforms.
  • Define and maintain regulatory data models, lineage, and dictionaries to ensure consistent definitions and data quality.
  • Establish submission procedures, access controls, and audit trails, supporting regulator queries and inspections as required.
  • Drive automation of reporting workflows (SQL/ETL/BI) to improve efficiency and reduce operational risk.
  • Build and maintain dashboards to support governance and management decision-making.
  • Collaborate closely with international teams to ensure alignment, accuracy, and scalability of reporting operations.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Data/Analytics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in regulatory reporting or regulatory data management within financial services, ideally payments, EMI/PI or fintech.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and data transformation, with the ability to translate regulatory requirements into data specifications.
  • Proven track record in implementing reconciliations, data controls, and governance frameworks with strong attention to audit discipline.
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent in English; additional European languages are an advantage.
