Scrum Master – Veghel, Netherlands (12‑Month Contract | Freelance or Detachering)
Contract Details
- Location: Veghel, Netherlands
- Duration: 12 months
- Engagement: Freelance or Detachering
- Industry: Logistics (preferred background)
Our client in Veghel is seeking a Scrum Master who can elevate team performance by shifting conversations, surfacing what’s not being said, and helping teams grow into accountable, high‑performing units. This role is ideal for someone who understands that great teams are built through trust, maturity, and honest dialogue — not rigid frameworks or ceremony management.
Role Overview
You will coach teams to own their outcomes, address dysfunctions openly, and build strong delivery habits. You’ll keep delivery grounded and meaningful, partnering closely with Product Owners and RTEs to improve flow, collaboration, and predictability. You’ll also help shape the broader system by strengthening alignment, trust, and continuous learning across teams and ARTs.
Key Responsibilities
- Coach teams toward accountability, trust, and high performance.
- Surface unspoken issues and guide teams through difficult conversations.
- Improve delivery flow using Jira as an enabler, not a reporting tool.
- Partner with Product Owners to balance focus, flow, and delivery rhythm.
- Identify and resolve systemic bottlenecks with the ART.
- Strengthen collaboration across teams, leaders, and coaches.
- Foster a culture of feedback, ownership, and self‑management.
What You Bring
- 7+ years of experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role (Scrum Master, Team Lead, PM, Agile Coach).
- Background in product development, software engineering, or delivery environments.
- Strong facilitation and coaching skills, ideally with professional or systemic coaching experience.
- High emotional intelligence and the ability to challenge respectfully.
- Ability to create psychological safety while driving accountability.
- Experience improving both team dynamics and delivery outcomes.
- A track record of turning good teams into great ones.
