Ecommerce Project Manager

📝 Contractor Role. This is a freelance/contractor position, so you’ll be responsible for managing your own taxes and invoicing.

We are seeking a highly organized and technical E-commerce Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex B2B digital solutions. This role is initially a project-based contract focused on executing a specific roadmap of our backend systems and payment gateway integrations. This position has the potential to transition into a long-term leadership role within our digital team.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Execution: Take ownership of the project plan, ensuring all milestones are met on time and within scope. Actively set and manage business prioritization to align with stakeholder goals.
• Leadership: Lead a team of developers and testers. You will be the primary link between technical workstreams and business objectives.
• System Integration: Oversee the successful integration of B2B e-commerce platforms with critical backend systems, including OMS, CRM, and ERP.
• Payment Gateway Implementation: Manage the integration and optimization of payment gateways. Ensure secure data handling, PCI compliance, and seamless checkout logic.
• Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for various stakeholders. Translate technical constraints into business impacts and vice versa.
• Quality Assurance: Apply knowledge of software testing methodologies to ensure all deliverables, especially financial and data integrations, meet high-quality standards.
• Workflow Management: Manage the day-to-day planning, scheduling, tracking backlogs and tasks, and provide transparent reporting to leadership.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in Project Management.
• Proven experience managing complex integrations (ERP, CRM, OMS and payment gateways).
• Mastery of the English (both oral and verbal). Ability to communicate clearly with both executive leadership and technical teams.
• Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams (analysts, developers, testers) to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Proficiency in project management tools like Jira.

• Industry Expertise: Prior experience in the Pharmaceutical or Cosmetics industries.
• Global Reach: Experience managing cross-border e-commerce projects and international logistics.
• Agile Proficiency: Knowledge of Agile project management methodologies.
