Senior Software Engineer in Test (Java) at BairesDev

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer in Test with strong Java skills and a genuine focus on quality engineering in distributed systems. You’ve built test frameworks from the ground up, designed integration and end-to-end test suites, and worked closely with CI/CD pipelines in complex backend environments. You understand how distributed systems fail, and you know how to build the safety nets that catch those failures before they reach production. You’ll be ensuring the reliability and release readiness of a platform that processes critical data flows for enterprise customers worldwide.

What You’ll Do:

- Design and develop automated test frameworks and suites in Java for distributed backend systems.

- Build and execute integration and end-to-end test coverage across multi-component platform environments.

- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline quality gates.

- Collaborate with developers to define testability requirements.

- Track and report on test coverage and release quality metrics.

What We Are Looking For:

- 5+ years of experience in IT roles.

- 3+ years of experience with Java as a primary programming language.

- Depth in automated testing frameworks such as JUnit or TestNG, including integration and E2E testing.

- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and release quality processes.

- Experience with defect diagnosis and regression testing in distributed systems.

- Solid understanding of distributed systems and how they behave under test conditions.

- Advanced proficiency in English.
