We seek a seasoned and proactive Senior Software Engineer - Java to join our dynamic team in Málaga. This role is pivotal in designing, developing, and maintaining robust Java applications that align with our enterprise architecture and business objectives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with testing frameworks, particularly JBehave, and a strong understanding of enterprise design patterns.

• Application Development: Design and implement scalable, high-performance Java applications using best practices and design patterns.
• Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD): Utilise JBehave to write and maintain BDD test cases, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
• Enterprise Architecture: Apply enterprise design patterns to develop maintainable and extensible software solutions.
• Code Quality: Conduct code reviews, write unit and integration tests, and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including QA, DevOps, and Product Management, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Must-Have

• Experience: Minimum of 6 years in Java development with a focus on enterprise applications.
• Testing Expertise: Proficient in writing and maintaining tests using JBehave and other testing frameworks.
• Design Patterns: Strong understanding and application of enterprise design patterns.
• Frameworks: Experience with Spring Boot, Hibernate, and related technologies.
• Version Control: Proficient with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Nice-to-Have

• iGaming Industry Experience: Familiarity with the iGaming sector and its unique challenges.
• Cloud Platforms: Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.
