The company is one of the largest banks in the Netherlands.
They are investing in more and more use cases driven by GenAI. Currently, within Financial Economic Crime (FEC) they are scaling up GenAi use cases. For instance around summarization of previous cases & alerts, generating a report narrative or conclusion based on available case & client information and a workflow chatbot providing analysts with the opportunity to get quick answers on their prompted questions throughout the entire workflow.
A high over architectural assessment indicated that for several FEC uses cases, unstructured data is needed. At the moment we are looking for an experienced Business Analyst who can start requirement analysis for the unstructured data needs.
Responsibilities:
• Start a discovery phase, supported by central GenAI support office, to assess the unstructured data information need for the first FEC Genai Use Cases;
• Document clear requirements, both functionally and technically;
• Document which metadata is needed;
• Assess via which data pipelines unstructured data should be brought to the applications, in alignment with our architects;
• Assess which data and IT governance checks need to be in place for the unstructured data;
• Do quarter master work for the new unstructured data squad which will be established once the unstructured data need is clear.
You bring this
- BA or masters in Finance and/or Data Analytics, computer science, information systems, mathematics, machine learning, or similar (or a data analytics certification acquired through a specific program);
- Excellent command of written and spoken English;
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the area of (Business) Data Analytics;
- Experience working with large datasets and unstructured data;
- Advanced knowledge of Excel - ability to use spreadsheets, graphing, tables, calculations, and automation efficiently to process large quantities of data relevant to business tasks;
- Proficiency with tools and languages such as Tableau or Power BI, SQL and Python, as well as data visualization and Pega, is a an advantage;
- Strong requirements analysis skills;
- Consultancy skills, being able to retrieve the question behind the question;
- Self-starter and proactive, you will not be part of a squad at first;
- Comfortable to operate in an innovative environment;
- Can-do attitude
You already live in the Netherlands and hold a valid work permit.

- Salary €6000 gross monthly based on 40 hours per week;
- 36-hour work week;
- Hybrid work arrangement;
- The position is temprorary, the assignment runs from January 1st to June 30th 2025.
