About The Role

As part of our dynamic R&D team within the Technology & Innovation organization, you’ll play a key role in developing cutting-edge solutions—from initial concept to commercialization. In this position, your focus will be on digitalization-driven research supporting breakthrough technologies such as recycling and carbon capture. This is your chance to contribute to sustainable innovation at the forefront of industrial transformation.

Your Main Tasks And Responsibilities

• Support data-driven technology development for chemical and process engineering projects.
• Contribute to the establishment of robust process simulation workflows.
• Run and validate process simulations and document the outcomes.
• Analyse simulation results and experimental data to identify trends and bottlenecks.
• Use the gathered insights to assist with the implementation of applications/tools that incorporate simulation/experimental results.
• Contribute to ongoing digitalization efforts by integrating data science techniques into developed workflows and applications.
  
  

To Succeed In This Role, You Will Need

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.
• Solid understanding of reaction and separation processes.
• Strong background in data science, including experience in visualizing and evaluating experimental data.
• Proficient programming skills, preferably in Python.
• Strong knowledge in commercial process simulation software (i.e., Aspen Plus/HYSYS).
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Strong ability to prioritize and coordinate tasks independently.
• A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and contribute original ideas.
