Join our highly skilled AI/ML team and build the systems that make AI work in production. You will design robust AI pipelines, agentic workflows, and scalable architectures for real-world client projects while working alongside some of the best AI experts in the field.
Who is your future team?
You will be part of the expert team at NordAxon, based at our headquarters in Hyllie, Malmö. We are a fast-growing, local group of AI experts who believe in "Lokalt producerad AI", high-quality solutions built with a focus on commercial and societal value.
Being a consultant at NordAxon means the best of two worlds: you will dive into diverse, high-impact projects for our clients, but you will also be able to contribute to our internal products and research projects. We are a flat organization where curiosity and innovation are part of our daily life. We work closely together, challenge each other, and often wrap up the week with team training or an AW.
What you will do here?
We are looking for a AI Engineer who wants to move into the world of system architecture and agentic workflows. You will play a key role in designing the "plumbing" that makes AI work in production.
In this role, you will:
- Design & Orchestrate: Build robust AI pipelines and sophisticated agentic systems. You’ll work with multi-component architectures and autonomous agents, leveraging frameworks like LangChain or LangGraph.
- Bridge the Gap: Act as the technical link between raw AI models and production-ready systems. You’ll be instrumental in exploring and implementing Model Context Protocol (MCP) to connect LLMs with external data sources and tools.
- Develop & Deploy: Create and integrate REST APIs for AI services. You’ll ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and well-monitored within cloud environments (GCP, Azure, AWS).
- Technical Tooling: Beyond the models, you’ll develop the tooling, scripts, and simple GUIs that allow organizations to interact with and manage their AI capabilities.
- Collaborate: Work cross-functionally with client stakeholders to identify challenges and bring groundbreaking AI concepts to life.
Who are we looking for/Who are you?
We are looking for a builder. You are likely a seasoned software developer who has pivoted into the AI space and understands that reliability and system design are just as important as the model itself.
As a person, you are:
- Humble and prestige-less: You focus on team success and collaboration over individual ego.
- Curious & Analytical: You have a natural drive to explore the latest trends but the discipline to choose the most effective tool for the job.
- Structured: You can create clarity in complex projects and drive them from idea to production.
- A strong communicator: You can explain complex AI concepts to both technical teammates and non-technical stakeholders.
- Solid Engineering: 3+ years of experience with a strong foundation in Python (Java/Go is a plus).
We would love to hear that you have:
- Linux Proficiency: Comfort working in Linux environments for development and deployment.
- AI Engineering Experience: 2+ years of experience in AI/ML application development.
- Systemic AI Knowledge: Hands-on experience with LLM orchestration, vector databases, and building autonomous agents.
- Backend Expertise: Proficiency in web frameworks (FastAPI, Flask) and working with containers (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Cloud Experience: Practical knowledge of deploying AI solutions in GCP, Azure, or AWS.
- Modern Methodology: Experience working in Agile environments and an understanding of Product Discovery and Product Delivery principles.
- Language: Fluency in both Swedish and English (professional level).
What NordAxon has to offer!
We offer a place where you can grow both professionally and individually. You will work on groundbreaking projects that use the latest AI technologies.
- The excitement of diverse client environments.
- A collaborative and friendly team culture.
- Flexible hybrid work (1-2 days per week from home).
- Health and wellbeing benefits, including team workouts but also bunch of Team AWs and Dinners.
- The chance to be a part of a "locally produced AI" journey in the heart of the Öresund region.
