Do you want to help shape the future of AI platforms and data-driven solutions? At Saab, we are expanding our Data & AI capabilities and are now looking for a Product Owner and a Scrum Master to join our Software Excellence and Information Assurance (SWEIXA) team within the Surveillance business area.
Together, these roles will play a key part in enabling the development of secure, scalable and cloud-native Data & AI platforms used in advanced defense and surveillance systems.
Working closely with developers, architects and stakeholders, you will help ensure that our teams deliver high-quality solutions that meet both customer needs and technical requirements.
Your Roles
We are strengthening the team with two complementary roles:
Product Owner
As Product Owner, you are responsible for maximizing the value delivered by the team. You work closely with stakeholders, customers and development teams to define priorities and guide the development of the platform.
Your responsibilities include:
As Scrum Master, your focus is to enable the team to work effectively using agile principles and Scrum practices. You help the team collaborate, remove obstacles and continuously improve the way of working.

Product Owner
As Product Owner, you are responsible for maximizing the value delivered by the team. You work closely with stakeholders, customers and development teams to define priorities and guide the development of the platform.
Your responsibilities include:
- Owning and managing the product backlog
- Defining and prioritizing features, epics and user stories
- Working closely with stakeholders to understand business and customer needs
- Setting priorities to ensure maximum value delivery
- Collaborating with architects and developers to shape the product roadmap
- Ensuring requirements are clearly defined and understood by the team
- Supporting planning and review activities
As Scrum Master, your focus is to enable the team to work effectively using agile principles and Scrum practices. You help the team collaborate, remove obstacles and continuously improve the way of working.
Your responsibilities include:
- Facilitating Scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, refinements and retrospectives
- Supporting the Product Owner with backlog preparation and planning
- Removing impediments that affect team delivery
- Coaching the team in agile principles and continuous improvement
- Supporting collaboration between teams and stakeholders
- Monitoring delivery progress and helping improve team efficiency
- Contributing to a healthy, productive and collaborative team environment
We are looking for structured, communicative and collaborative individuals who enjoy working in agile environments and supporting high-performing teams.
You likely have experience with several of the following:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
- Experience working in agile software development environments
- Experience as Product Owner or Scrum Master
- Agile practices such as backlog management, sprint planning and story estimation
- Tools such as Jira or similar task management systems
- Experience working closely with software development teams
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Good English proficiency
