What You Will Be Doing

  • Designing and building scalable, robust Android applications using Kotlin and modern architecture patterns (e.g. MVVM)
  • Applying SOLID and clean code principles, using Gradle and unit tests (JUnit, Mockito) to ensure high code quality
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, product owners and stakeholders, and contributing to technical and architecture discussions
  • Designing fit-for-purpose, scalable solutions and participating in code reviews
  • Mentoring other engineers, supporting technical strategy, and promoting engineering best practices

You Are a Good Match If You Have

  • Strong commercial experience in core Android development with Kotlin
  • Hands-on experience with modern Android architectures (e.g. MVVM) and scalable mobile applications
  • Solid understanding of SOLID, clean, maintainable code and Gradle-based Android projects
  • Practical experience with unit testing (JUnit, Mockito)
  • Proven experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with business stakeholders
  • Experience mentoring engineers and presenting technical concepts to internal teams

You Get Extra Points For

  • Reactive programming experience (RxJava, Kotlin Coroutines / Flow)
  • UI automation testing (Espresso)
  • Experience with Continuous Integration (e.g. CircleCI)
