THIS IS A PART-TIME (50%) POSITION

Project Scope:

You will be responsible for refactoring and optimizing the existing codebase, integrating data from external sources like Snowflake, and managing the application’s permissions system. Your tasks will include improving the full-text search mechanism with ElasticSearch, monitoring the application stack via Kubernetes, and handling deployment and debugging using Docker. Additionally, you will work with Maven for build management and support CI/CD pipeline automation.

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in SQL (Oracle and PostgreSQL is a plus)
• Solid experience with Java, Spring, and SpringBoot
• Basic understanding of ElasticSearch for full-text search use cases
• Familiarity with Maven for build phases and dependency management
• Experience with Docker for container creation, deployment, and local debugging
• Basic knowledge of Kubernetes for monitoring and troubleshooting application stack
• Basic Bash scripting skills, with experience in CI/CD pipeline configuration
• Experience with Snowflake (nice to have)
