AI Engineer (GenAI / Agentic AI) – Banking & Financial Services

Contract: B2B

Location: Poland ( mostly remote with upto 6 days per month in either Warsaw or Krakow)

Eligibility: Must be based in Poland with right to work already in place

Rate: Negotiable / Competitive daily rate (300 -450 EUR pd)

We are looking for an experienced AI Engineer with a strong banking background

to design and deliver agentic AI solutions, with a strong preference for candidates from banking or financial services environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and deploy AI agents using Google ADK and Vertex AI Agent Builder
• Design Agent-to-Agent (A2A) communication and orchestration flows
• Develop LLM components, including prompts, function calling, and structured outputs
• Build and optimise RAG pipelines using Vertex AI Search / Matching Engine and vector databases
• Engineer agent context and memory for effective knowledge retrieval and session continuity
• Integrate agents with APIs, backend services, and UI/UX layers
• Collaborate with Data & ML teams on pipelines, fine-tuning, deployment, and monitoring
• Ensure scalability, observability, security, and compliance in enterprise environments

Required / Preferred Experience

• Hands-on experience delivering GenAI / agentic AI solutions in production
• Experience with quantitative or numerically intensive use cases
• Banking experience is essential
• Experience delivering AI/GenAI solutions in regulated environments
