We're looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join our team in Dubai and take a central role in building high-performance trading infrastructure. You'll work on the core systems that handle real-time data, order execution, and financial workflows — where reliability, low latency, and correctness are non-negotiable.

This is a technically demanding and highly rewarding role for an engineer who wants to work on systems that truly matter.

• Design and build robust, low-latency backend services powering trading infrastructure
• Develop and maintain high-throughput APIs and data pipelines for real-time financial data
• Architect scalable systems capable of handling large volumes of transactions with precision
• Collaborate with quants, traders, and product stakeholders to translate requirements into reliable software
• Own components end-to-end — from design and implementation to deployment and monitoring
• Identify performance bottlenecks and drive continuous improvements in system reliability and speed
• Mentor junior engineers and champion engineering best practices across the team

• 7+ years of professional backend development experience
• Proven track record building and operating trading systems or financial infrastructure in production
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing Central Limit Order Books (CLOB) and/or matching engines — you understand the mechanics deeply, not just theoretically
• Deep expertise in low-latency, high-throughput system design — you've solved these problems before, at scale
• Strong proficiency in a performance-oriented backend language (Go, C++, Java, or similar)
• Hands-on experience with event-driven architectures and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar)
• Solid understanding of trading protocols and financial data standards (FIX, WebSockets, etc.)
• Expert-level grasp of distributed systems, concurrency, and fault-tolerant architecture
• Experience with time-series and relational databases in high-frequency data environments
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead technical discussions with senior stakeholders

• Experience with blockchain infrastructure — on-chain order books, DEX mechanics, smart contract interaction, or building on EVM-compatible or other Layer 1/Layer 2 networks
• Familiarity with the intersection of CeFi and DeFi trading systems is a strong plus
• Contributions to open-source projects in the fintech or systems space
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code practices
