A Network Administrator is responsible for installing, managing, and maintaining an organization’s computer networks to ensure reliable connectivity, security, and performance. They support network infrastructure such as LANs, WANs, routers, switches, and firewalls to keep systems running smoothly.

• Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
• Manage network security including firewalls, VPNs, and access controls.
• Maintain and update routers, switches, and other networking devices.
• Perform regular network maintenance, upgrades, and system backups.
• Ensure network availability and reliability for users and systems.
• Document network configurations and procedures.
• Provide technical support to users experiencing network-related issues.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, or related field.
• Experience with network administration and troubleshooting.
• Professional certifications are often preferred.
