About the role
The Product Manager role at Fenwick is responsible for shaping and improving the company’s online customer experience. You will lead the development and performance of Fenwick’s digital products end-to-end, ensuring the website and digital infrastructure continually evolve to meet customer needs and business goals. Working with data, customer insight, and experimentation, you will help embed a product-led approach across the digital business while delivering meaningful improvements to the online shopping journey.
In this role, you will manage and prioritise the digital product roadmap, focusing on initiatives that improve key commercial outcomes such as conversion, sales, order volumes, average order value, and site performance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Digital, Marketing, Buying & Merchandising, Retail, Logistics, Finance, and IT, as well as external partners and technology providers. By combining customer insight with analytics and experimentation, you will identify opportunities, test new ideas, and deliver features that drive measurable results.
This position suits a commercially minded product professional with experience in digital retail or a similar fast-paced environment. Fenwick’s digital experience is powered by Shopify, and experience working with Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms would be beneficial. With strong communication and leadership skills, you will influence stakeholders, champion agile and product-led ways of working, and help deliver high-quality digital experiences that support Fenwick’s wider transformation and growth strategy.
What we are looking for in a candidate...
- Experience as a Product Owner in digital retail or with strong transferable skills.
- Able to turn data and insights into actionable change, with confidence using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Skilled in working with SaaS vendors – specifically Shopify, third‑party suppliers, and cross‑functional business teams.
- Strong understanding of business drivers and how to translate them into effective technical and product solutions.
- Demonstrated leadership, influencing ability, and a proactive, solutions‑focused mindset.
- Takes ownership, works independently, and builds strong relationships across teams.
- Commercially minded, financially aware, and confident making informed decisions at pace.
- Hands‑on, pragmatic approach with strong delivery focus.
- Ideally certified or knowledgeable in Agile, A/B testing, and MVT practices.
- Experience working within structured change [and incident] management processes.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across technical, functional and operational teams - especially with digital and marketing functions.
