The Opportunity
Join our Project Management Team in Istanbul and contribute to the successful delivery of multidisciplinary projects. As an Assistant Project Manager at Arup, you will support senior leaders in managing diverse local and international projects with precision, quality, and effective communication.
As An Assistant Project Manager At Arup, You Will
- Assist in the daily management of multidisciplinary projects, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to scope, and exceptional quality standards,
- Build trust with clients through clear and effective communication, ensuring their requirements are fully addressed,
- Coordinate tasks and monitor project progress by preparing reports, schedules, and records to ensure alignment with project objective,
- Liaise with all project team for follow-up of actions and report back to seniors,
- Assist the project management activities within the group, including design management, programme management, commercial management and contract administration,
- Support the communication and coordination between the Client and the General Contractor,
- Support the development of tender submissions and presentations in collaboration with senior team members,
- Facilitate project meetings, prepare minutes, and track action items.
Does this role inspire you?
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Civil/Structural Engineering from reputable universities,
- Master’s degree in Project / Construction Management or project management certification,
- Minimum 2 years, up to 5 years of relevant experience in project management, preferably in design management,
- Experience in multi-disciplinary projects is a plus,
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat,
- Proficiency in MS Project and/or Primavera P6 (advantageous),
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken,
- Self-motivated, eager to learn and to take on new challenges,
- Proactive approach with forward thinking and solution-oriented mindset,
- Ability to liaise and communicate with integrated multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders,
- Effective communication and presentation skills,
- Strong planning and organization skills,
- No travel restrictions (local & international),
- Have a driver’s license,
- For male candidates, military service must be completed.
