Junior Network Engineer | Brisbane | Onsite | Up to $80k + Superannuation
Kickstart your IT career by getting hands-on with real networks and servers. This role is perfect for someone who wants to build a strong foundation toward becoming a Network Engineer by working directly with networking and infrastructure hardware across client sites.
You’ll join a fast-growing Brisbane IT services provider specialising in networking, cloud, and infrastructure solutions. The company supports early-career engineers with mentorship, structured learning, and a clear pathway into network and systems roles, giving you the chance to gain practical, career-advancing experience.
What You’ll Do
- Rack, stack, and cable network and server hardware at client sites
- Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, and servers
- Assist with network and infrastructure deployments, upgrades, and rollouts
- Support Windows and endpoint environments connected to network infrastructure
- Work alongside senior engineers, learning best practices in networking and server administration
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate professionally with clients
What You’ll Need
- 6–18 months IT support, helpdesk, or field experience (internships count)
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Interest or exposure to network hardware, cabling, and server infrastructure
- Problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn hands-on
- Good communication skills
- Valid driver’s licence for travel to client sites
Certifications like CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or similar are a bonus but not required.
