Technology Co-Founder

Introduction:

Safra Tourism and Travel is an innovative online travel agency (OTA) that connects travelers with curated, bookable itineraries crafted by individuals, influencers, and planners. Our mission is to simplify travel planning and empower users to explore, book, and share their travel experiences seamlessly.

We are looking for a dynamic Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to join our founding team. This equity-based leadership role offers the opportunity to shape the future of travel tech in the GCC and beyond.

Responsibilities:

• Define and execute the technical roadmap aligned with business goals.
• Oversee the development of our booking platform, including API integrations.
• Recruit and manage a high-performing tech team as the company grows.
• Ensure the platform is robust, secure, and scalable for future growth.
• Write clean, maintainable code and manage technical documentation.
• Collaborate with the founding team on product strategy, user experience, and innovation.

Expertise:

• Proven experience as a Full-Stack Developer, CTO, or Technical Lead.
• Strong proficiency in backend and frontend technologies.
• Expertise in cloud services.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs and managing databases.
• Passion for building user-friendly platforms and solving real-world problems.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to take ownership.

Preferred:

• Experience in the travel industry.
• Familiarity with the GCC market.
