Role: Engineer – Typescript & NodeJS

Exciting opportunity to work with TATA Consultancy Services as an Engineer – Typescript & NodeJS with one of its new prestigious clients which is also a Top 10 Finnish brand and a leading Northern European retail and wholesale company with promising individual growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing, developing and supporting microservices developed using TypeScript, Node JS.
• Working with business analysts, product owners, and other stakeholders to understand. requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Providing technical expertise in Typescript & NodeJS best practices.
• Conducting code reviews, ensuring code quality, and adherence to coding standards.
• Technically lead the offshore team in development and support activities.
• Liaise with customer on Delivery & Service quality.

Experience & Skills Requirements:

Must have:

• Deep technical knowledge and hands on experience in development, maintenance and support of microservices developed using TypeScript, Node JS.
• Experience in managing and supporting mission-critical applications with strong debugging skills.
• Good proficiency in Finnish and English.

Good to have:

• Experience with Retail/workforce management and Payroll systems.
• Knowledge of Finnish working hours legislation (TES) and wage interpretations. Willingness to learn Finnish payroll concepts.
• Experience in Azure services such as Azure AD, Azure Key Vault, Azure Functions and Azure Data Factory.
• Experience with onsite-offshore delivery model.
