You will be expected to accelerate governance set up and process automation and digitalization in respective area by ensuring E2E alignment between process, data flows and tooling landscape, in addition to ensuring data quality, availability, security and harmonization.
Strong involvement is expected in strategic master data initiatives such as ngCoreERP program, Master Data Governance (MDG) acceleration, Legal mandatory projects related finance master data set up, support for analytics initiatives linked to Data consistency, Data Consolidation, Data Profiling (usage in transactional data) and KPI’s, finance reference data alignment and related initiatives.
You will be accountable for advice, coaching and guidance within own area towards Finance data operations team and continuous alignment with data governance owner, process and sub process owners, IT Solution Architects, IT and Business project managers whenever finance master data needs to be set up.
How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
Implementation of Finance data governance and Finance Data Strategy
- Owns documentation and analysis of end‑to‑end data alignment across Nokia Finance Accounting processes and the Nokia tooling landscape, including proposing digitalization improvements.
- Accountable for data governance within own area, ensuring data digitalization, quality, availability, security, and harmonization across organizations and systems (e.g., master data elements, attributes, replications within the Nokia ecosystem).
- Defines and maintains master data policies and procedures for own area.
- Communicates master data updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Sets data quality KPIs for own master data and monitors performance.
- Designs the master data maintenance process, including RACI, governance documentation, and training materials.
- Actively coordinates strategic Master Data initiatives (e.g., MDG, ngCoreERP, Mergers & Acquisitions) for own finance master data area: requirements, implementation support, establishing governance processes and RACI, and monitoring outcomes.
- Defines guidelines for master data harmonization, cleansing, and mapping, and coordinates execution with data maintainers, including progress follow-up.
- Defines master data migration concept and load approach
- Drives continuous improvement initiatives in master data and provides expertise.
- Collaborates closely with Process and Sub‑Process Owners, providing guidance on all master data related needs within their processes.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, with a strong academic background.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in finance data management and SAP accounting, demonstrating a track record of success.
- In-depth knowledge of finance master data, accounting principles, and data governance frameworks.
- Experienced with SAP MDG, SAP Finance ERP's, including S4 Hanna
- Data analysis and reporting tools, such as HFM, One Stream, or Redbox, for accurate insights.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a cross-functional team.
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of managing multiple projects.
- A team player with a passion for driving excellence and continuous improvement in finance operations.
- Data areas of preference: finance master data areas supporting FPRA processes, organizational and Reporting Hierarchies and Reporting process
