Senior Backend Engineer (Golang) - Germany, Fully Remote

We are proud to be supporting a fast-growing HealthTech company that is building software to simplify healthcare workflows and reduce complexity. They are scaling their platform and need experienced backend engineers to help evolve a mature, production system.

The Role

You’ll join an experienced engineering team responsible for a core backend platform supporting multiple workflows, integrations, and products.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Developing and maintaining backend services in a production Golang
• Designing and improving APIs used across multiple internal and external systems
• Working on performance, scalability, and reliability in a complex environment
• Contributing to architectural decisions and long-term technical direction
• Owning backend features from design through to production and ongoing improvement

What you’ll bring:

• Strong hands-on experience with Golang in production environments
• Solid understanding of databases (e.g. Postgres) and data modelling
• Experience improving performance, scalability, and system reliability
• Familiarity with automated testing, CI pipelines, and modern development practices
• Confidence taking responsibility for parts of a backend codebase and mentoring others
