Network Operations Engineer

Hybrid (2x Times Per Week Munich)

Reports to: Global Head of Network Engineering

We are seeking an experienced Network Operations Engineer to ensure the day-to-day availability of our global production network, including WAN, LAN, Network Security, and Cloud Internet Security platforms. This role works closely with internal teams and external providers (L1/L2) and plays a key part in service restoration, proactive improvement, and network refresh deployments.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and support WAN, LAN, SD-WAN, security, and cloud security platforms
• Lead/participate in Major Incident calls and deliver Root Cause Analysis
• Drive service restoration, sustainability, and continuous improvement
• Patch management and availability tracking
• Evaluate Managed Service Provider capabilities
• Support global 24/7 operations and network refresh initiatives

Required Experience

• 8+ years in IT Operations / Network Engineering
• Strong expertise in SD-WAN (VeloCloud), MPLS, WAN circuits
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Aruba, and Infoblox
• Experience with cloud security platforms (e.g., Zscaler)
• Knowledge of firewalls, load balancers, SolarWinds, and Riverbed
• Experience in global enterprise environments
• Professional certifications preferred
