We are working with a leading client in Cork, Ireland.
Our client is seeking a skilled, dedicated and proactive network engineer/administrator with strong interpersonal skills and knowledge of LAN, WAN, wireless and traffic engineering.
This is a contract role for 6-12 months, with 2-3 days onsite in the head office, but this can be discussed.
He/she will also assist in the development of guidelines and procedures for administration, maintenance and security best practices; create SOPs and other documentation; monitor infrastructure; anticipate problems; and suggest solutions
· Good knowledge on handling Cisco, Nexus and Brocade networking devices
· Good understanding of Routing protocols (OSPF, BGP)
· Good understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 concepts
