About The Role

As a Software Engineer in our Vilnius office, you will design, develop, and maintain secure, high-performance geospatial cloud-based applications. You’ll collaborate closely with global, cross-functional teams to deliver robust user interfaces, efficient 2D and 3D data handling on the backend, and seamless integrations into Trimble’s leading geospatial platform.
What You Will Do
- Innovate: Help build and contribute to the platform for running AI/Feature Extraction solutions in Trimble Business Center and Trimble Reality Capture Platform.
- Collaborate: Actively partner with multinational hardware and software teams working on scanning, mobile mapping, and aerial survey sensors.
- Maintain Excellence: Contribute to cross-team repos with high quality standards and conduct detailed code reviews.
- Design & Refine: Participate in product design and requirements meetings to clarify, refine, and prioritize technical goals.
- Quality First: Ensure robust performance by covering your code with automated tests.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years of professional experience primarily coding back-end and/or desktop applications.
- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with C# and Python.
- Soft Skills: Highly-motivated, autonomous self-starter with excellent English communication skills (written and spoken).
- Preferred Pluses: Experience with Apache Spark/Ray, AWS/Terraform, or PyTorch/ONNX.

Our Field Systems division provides a wide range of hardware and software solutions to the construction industry, focusing on web products that handle massive 2D and 3D GeoSpatial data.
