Senior Android Developer

Responsibilities

⚡️ Develop and deliver Android features using Kotlin and modern Android architecture patterns.

⚡️ Own features end-to-end — from technical design and implementation to release and monitoring.

⚡️ Collaborate with designers and product stakeholders to define, refine, and ship impactful user experiences.

⚡️ Maintain and improve existing codebases (Zedge Ringtones & Wallpapers and Shortz apps), driving long-term quality and scalability.

⚡️ Ensure high quality through solid testing practices and proactive bug fixing.

⚡️ Monitor app performance and stability, investigate complex issues, and continuously improve reliability.

⚡️ Stay up to date with Android platform updates and evolving best practices.

Requirements

💪 Strong experience in Android development.

💪 Solid proficiency in Kotlin.

💪 Experience with MVVM architecture.

💪 Hands-on experience with reactive programming (RxJava, Flow, or similar).

💪 Experience working with RESTful APIs and networking libraries such as Retrofit.

💪 Familiarity with dependency injection frameworks (e.g., Dagger).

💪 Experience with local data storage solutions such as Room.

💪 Understanding of clean architecture principles and modularization.

💪 Strong collaboration skills and experience working in cross-functional Scrum teams.

💪 Ownership mindset: you take responsibility for outcomes and care about product quality.

💪 Pragmatic approach to shipping, refactoring, and continuous improvement.

💪 Experience with AI-powered coding tools (e.g. Cursor, Claude Code) is a plus.
