Your Mission
- As part of the development of a brand-new application in the financial sector, you will join an Agile Squad of 6 to 9 members.
- As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend systems based on Java and Spring Boot technologies.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing, developing, maintaining, testing, and deploying Spring Boot web portals, applications, components, and libraries.
- Developing backend services using Java and the Spring Framework.
- Collaborating closely with Team Leads, Tech Leads, Business Analysts, Developers, and Testers to understand requirements and ensure consistency and alignment across solutions.
- Participating in the design of scalable and high-performance backend architectures.
- Deploying and monitoring applications in containerized environments both on-premises and in the cloud.
- Contributing to code quality, automated testing, and CI/CD best practices.
Your Profile
Required Technical Skills:
- Strong expertise in Java 17 (Java 21 or higher preferred)
- Solid experience with Spring Framework 6.x (or higher) and Spring Boot 3.x (or higher)
- Experience with JPA / Hibernate
- Development of Web Services (REST, SOAP)
- Experience with asynchronous communication and event streaming (Kafka)
- Unit and integration testing using JUnit or TestNG
- Experience with mocking frameworks such as Mockito
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, including:
- Maven
- Git
- CI/CD pipelines (preferably Azure DevOps)
- Containerization with Docker
- Cloud environments (preferably Microsoft Azure)
- Experience with Authentication and Authorization protocols (OIDC / OAuth)
Nice to Have:
- Experience with integration technologies and microservices architectures
- Knowledge of Apache Camel (Spring Integration is also a plus)
- Experience in Full-Stack Web Development with a JavaScript framework (preferably React)
- Experience with workflow or process engines such as Temporal
